Doncaster Central Library is a fun place to go and learn, they even have a special Children’s Central Library jam-packed full of books for bed time stories or to learn new things! You can go to storytelling, craft sessions and the annual Summer reading game.
Cusworth Hall, Museum and Park is a beautiful house which is over 250 years old and set in lots of land! There are lots of interesting facts to learn about the history, gardens to explore and wildlife to spot. Cusworth Hall also holds events and activities for the whole family.
Conisbrough Castle is one of Sam and Sammie’s favourite places to visit! Exploring the really old castle, from the basement right to the very top to get some amazing views. You can even explore through the defences and ditches, play games or have a picnic!
Thorne Library is a fun place to go and learn, you can borrow books, DVDs, music and even talking books. There are events on at the library that are great for all members of the family.
Keepmoat Stadium is home to Doncaster Rugby League FC, Doncaster Rovers Belles and Doncaster Rovers so there’s always an exciting game to watch! There’s more to offer than matches though, with special events where you could have dinner with your favourite characters!
A great free place to visit is Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery. You can see lots of natural history, learn about local history and see lots of amazing art. There are exhibitions all year round and fun things for everyone.
